A Day With Someone...

Well, things in school always start the same...lecture, break, lecture, break. It has been a routine everyday. This day is different though. One of my classmates (I won't tell her name) asked me to help her in Programming. I was glad to help her, because she's my crush.

It was during our Algebra lecture when she asked for my help. As we walked out of the school during dismissal, we went to an internet cafe, where I taught her. After that, we walked to Victoria Plaza (I will meet my mother and she will go home).

As I walked with her, there was something about her that I can't get off my head. She's so cute and pretty! I just discovered that she was the daughter of my mother's office-mate when I told my mom about her. And one thing: she told me she had seen me before. Well, I think I've seen her before, too, but I could remember little about it.

I don't know if I should ever write this, but I have a crush on her. Someday, I would tell her how I feel. I even wrote a song about her. I want to know her more, to be her friend and more than that...Well, that's all I could write about...Thanks for reading!

After 12 Days...Magtatagalog ako (My First Blog Written in Filipino)

Kami ay nanood ng Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen. Napakaganda ng pelikula! Pagkatapos ay nagvideoke kami! Kantahan time!!! Ang saya-saya! Talaga!

Third Day in School

Things usually start as usual: Ride in my mother's car going to school, enter the gates, find my classmates. As I arrived at the Engineering building, I saw my classmates forming a line outside IC Lab 1 (Fact: Institute of Computing is just located inside the Engineering building itself!). It was already a routine to wait for our teachers. It was already the fourth time that a teacher did not meet us. And the subject was actually interesting: Information Technology Fundamentals (in short: IT Funda). We waited for what seemed like an eternity outside the Lab; we waited for 3 HOURS!!! What we did? Chat here, chat there...just to pass the time and avoid boredom.

The hours passed: Programming time!!! We went to Room 506 in the same department. Then our teacher came. He was my Trigonometry teacher!! I did not expect this. But, it was very nice to meet him. He is so funny, always cracking jokes when there's an opportunity. We can't help but laugh!

Sir Ariel facts:
  1. He was a graduate of University of the Immaculate Conception.
  2. He finished MA in ComEng in the same school.
  3. He is currently the Networking Administrator of USEP.

Second Day @ USEP

I thought I was late...I arrived at 8:28 am. But, as I entered the classroom where my section was, luckily, there was no teacher yet. What a relief! I was already hurrying to go to school that I forgot to bring my yellow pad papers (I'm gonna need them whenever there will be quizzes).

After what seemed like an eternity of waiting, we finally took our lunch. As usual, we took our lunch outside the school. This time, I went with Ash's (Aslanie) group. It was around past 10 o'clock when we took our lunch.

After lunch time, we then went back inside the school and into a place where we sat. When it was around 11;15 am, we went to our classroom where we have our English class. Our teacher, Ms. Ma. Juliet Vasay, arrived a bit late, but it was alright with us. After two hours of getting to know each other and explaining to us her rules in class, we then said goodbye and went to the Education building for our orientation.

The orientation was both serious and fun, mostly due to the MCs' and the speakers' sense of humor just to keep us attentive and alive. As a result, we did enjoy it. After 4 hours of orientation on the rules and guidelines, it's already time to go home. As was my routine, I walked from USEP to the tricycle terminals going to my mother's office. The rest is history.

My First Day @ USEP

Well, at first it's kinda terrifying, but college life is REALLY different. From the moment I walked inside the gates of my new school, I felt very, very nervous, first because I don't know where to go, then lastly because I don't know anyone...maybe except for some old friends. It's the first day of classes, so I have to get myself used to the new people around me. Luckily, there are those people I knew who also went here to study. I also gained new friends here...especially my dear old friend Jesmael and the lovely Rheanaliz. Both of them are my classmates, and I enjoyed watching them picking at each other because of like this and like that.

I gained new friends, too; some whom I've already known since enrollment. Aslanie Comayog is a graduate of Erico Nograles High School, and Jomarie Reyes is a graduate of Davao City National High School. I also met Donna Sambaoa, who I saw for the first time in the interview. For the teachers, I first met my Sir Ariel Roy Reyes, who would become my temporary Programming teacher and permanent Trigonometry teacher, during the interview. (In fact, he was my interviewer!) My other classmates I met when we had our first meeting in Psychology. In our class I met our teacher, Prof. Fernando Valero Magdato, Jr., who would later ask for my help in his office. We introduced ourselves in our Psychology class.

First day of school might be disorienting at first, but as I spend it with my friends, I realized it is very enjoying. Very enjoying indeed, because of our happy times together as one section. But our workload is heavy, and we have problems too, albeit only minor and easy to solve ones. Our PE and Math teachers did not come to our classes, so we pass the time by playing, of all games, dodge-ball! Well, that's all I could tell you right now, for I'm very tired and I'm gonna need to rest. Because of that, I have to end the first chapter of my journal for now...and I look forward to tomorrow, hoping that it will be as enjoyable as today! God bless you all!
